SWITZERLAND (CH) – Having arrived to Switzerland, the driver must provide the customs service with information about the vehicle they are driving: its registration plate number, country of registration, maximum authorised mass, EURO emission standard, and owner’s address. The driver gets a qualification card (orange ID CARD) containing data on their vehicle; this card may not be transferred to another person.

Each time you enter Switzerland, you must put this card in the terminal at a customs control point specifying the following information: mileage as per your tachometer, maximum trailer weight, selected route (free or pre-defined), and payment method (cash, fuel card).

The driver gets a receipt certifying the money transfer. When leaving the country, the receipt must specify the mileage to be used for the payment amount calculation. The payment shall be made via the AS24 Eurotrafic card.
