Ferry / train

The part of the daily rest period spent on shore must be used before or after the part of the daily rest period spent on a ferry or in a train.

Ferry / train (3 + 9 hrs)

The interval between two daily rest periods must be shorter, where possible, and may in no event exceed one hour before loading or after unloading, while customs formalities shall be considered part of loading or unloading operations.
