We recommend that you apply in March when the accurate data is already available in VMI’s system. - When will I get a refund for my income tax overpayment?
If you submit your tax return before 4 May 2026, the overpayment amount will be refunded by 31 July 2026.
If you submit or adjust your tax return after the date specified (i.e. after 2 May), the overpayment amount will be refunded within 90 days following the date of submission or adjustment of your correctly competed tax return.
Overpayment refund lists are drawn up randomly, and the tax return submission date is not considered; therefore, submitting the tax return on time is most important.
