This card is intended for drivers having a professional qualification (EU Code 95), where entering this code into the driving license is impossible. Given that starting from 2026, the new requirements that make having a DQC or a driving licence bearing the corresponding indication mandatory will become effective, we recommend that you take care of requesting a DQC within the coming 6\u00a0months (until 1\u00a0January 2025).<\/p>\n

What is a \u201cDriver Qualification Card\u201d?<\/strong><\/p>\n

DQC a document that certifies professional competence of C1, C1E, C, CE, D1, D1E, D, and DE-category drivers that carry cargoes or passengers for commercial purposes, where Code 95 may not be entered into a driving licence.<\/p>\n

Who Driver Qualification Cards (CPC, DQCs, Code95) are issued to?<\/strong><\/p>\n

A Driver Qualification Card (DQC) is issued to drivers qualified to drive C1, C1E, C, CE, D1, D1E, D, and DE-category vehicles, as well as their combinations with trailers that carry cargoes or passengers for commercial purposes, where the harmonized EU Code\u00a095 may not be entered into a driving licence.<\/p>\n

What is the validity of a Driver Qualification Card (DQC)?<\/strong><\/p>\n

DQC\u2019s validity may not exceed 5\u00a0years. Card\u2019s expiry date must match that of the certificate of professional competence.<\/p>\n

HOW TO REQUEST A DRIVER QUALIFICATION CARD<\/strong><\/p>\n

STEP\u00a0I<\/strong>\u00a0You may request a DQC by visiting one of Regitra\u2019s offices that issues driving licences. There are two ways to make an appointment at a Regitra\u2019s office in advance:<\/p>\n

STEP\u00a0II<\/strong>\u00a0At the office, you will have to present:<\/p>\n

Your identification document (residence permit);<\/p>\n

Code CPC VKK 95; and<\/p>\n

Your valid driving licence and international driving licence (if required). At Regitra\u2019s office, you will also have to:<\/p>\n

– take a photo, and<\/p>\n

– provide your sample signature. Your Driver Qualification Card will be ready in 15\u00a0business days. The card costs EUR\u00a017.33.<\/p>\n

STEP\u00a0III<\/strong>\u00a0Your Driver Qualification Card may be delivered:<\/p>\n

Directly to your company. When requesting the card, specify your company\u2019s name and address. This service costs EUR\u00a06.99.
